A private lesson can be scheduled with us every day. If you prefer more personalized attention, you can book a one-on-one session with one of our surf coaches. It is also possible to schedule the session with 1, 2, or 3 friends.

What is included?

The lesson price includes a custom wetsuit, a custom surfboard, and a certified surf instructor!

What do I have to bring?

Sunscreen for your face, hands, and feet. A water bottle for after the surf lesson, a towel to dry off, and tight swimwear such as swim trunks or a swimsuit.

Is the surf lesson safe?

Surfing remains an ‘extreme sport,’ and like any other sport, there are safety risks involved. We use small groups, and you’ll be taught by internationally certified surf instructors with lifeguard diplomas. We also maintain close communication with the lifeguard service. After a comprehensive safety theory session, you can confidently enter the water with our instructors.

Where is the surfschool located?

Dutch Surf Academy is attached to the popular beach tent “De Pit” in ‘s-Gravenzande. Navigate to Dutch Surf Academy, park in the parking lot, walk onto the beach, and you’ll find us on your right.

How can i pay?

When you make a reservation, you can easily pay online via iDeal. You can also choose to pay by card or cash on-site.

Private surf lessons adults

A private lesson is a surfing lesson designed for beginners or advanced surfers who prefer to have the full attention of the instructor. These lessons are available for both children and adults or a combination thereof, and can be reserved for one person or a maximum of five people.

 

 

Duration:

2 hours including changing.

Prices:

1 person: €85 per person.
2 persons: €60 per person.
3 persons: €50 per person.
4 persons or more: €45 per person.

When:

Every day, at any time (weather and sea conditions permitting). Per reservation.

A private lesson is a surfing lesson designed for both novice and advanced surfers who prefer to have the full attention of the instructor.

How does a private surf lesson look?

The lesson begins with a welcome at the surf school, where you will be provided with a custom wetsuit and the opportunity to change. Afterward, we’ll select a suitable surfboard together that precisely matches your height and weight. Next up is the theory lesson.

During the theory lesson, you can specify the topics you’d like information on. If it’s your first lesson, the instructor will provide an introduction to basic subjects such as equipment, knowledge of the sea, currents, safety, and, of course, the step-by-step process for standing up on the board. After the theory lesson, you’ll enter the water with the instructor. Throughout the water session, he will provide tips and support as needed. Safety and fun are our top priorities!

With our unique teaching method, we can (almost) guarantee that you’ll stand in your first lesson or make significant progress.

The surf lessons are conducted by certified surf instructors holding a Lifeguard diploma and an ISA certificate. Our instructors have years of experience in both surfing and teaching!

You can make a reservation for multiple people!

Belevingen

We hebben nog nooit gesurft en wilden het een dagje uitproberen. De jongens waren erg aardig en legden alles heel goed uit! De uitrusting was volledig nieuw en goed onderhouden. Daarna gingen we allemaal naar de pizzeria naast de surfschool op het strand. We hebben echt een mega dag gehad en komen zeker de volgende keer terug
