Our soft-top surfboards are available for rent every day. Make a reservation on the website or give us a call/app. Perfect if you want to have some fun on your own.

What is included?

You’ll receive a custom soft-top surfboard and a leash to keep your board close by. It’s possible to rent a wetsuit as well.

What do I have to bring?

Sunscreen for your face, hands, and feet. A bottle of water for after surfing, a towel to dry off, and tight swimwear such as swim trunks or a swimsuit.

Where is the surfschool located?

Dutch Surf Academy is attached to the popular beach tent “De Pit” in ‘s-Gravenzande. Navigate to Dutch Surf Academy, park at the parking lot, walk onto the beach, and you’ll find us on your right.

How can I pay?

You can pay on the spot with a card, contactless, or in cash.

You’ve come to the right place! Good waves, perfect surfboards, and not too many surfers in the water! Plus, open 7 days a week!

Prices:

Surfboard: €15,- per two hours | Daily rate: €35,-
Wetsuit: €5,- per two hours | Daily rate: €15,-
SUP board: €15 per two hours | Daily rate: €35,-
Bodyboard: €10 per two hours | Daily rate: €25,-
Skimboard: €5,- per two hours | Daily rate: €15,-
Mega SUP: €30,- per two hours | Daily rate: €75,-

Rent a surfboard

If you have the basics of surfing down and want to give it a go on your own, come rent a surfboard!

At Dutch Surf Academy in ‘s-Gravenzande, we have an extensive range of surfboards available for rent, all from the popular brand Vision.

Our selection includes boards ranging from 7’0, 8’0, to 9’0, with volumes ranging from 40 to 120 liters. This ensures there’s a suitable size for everyone.

If you haven’t surfed before, we recommend booking a surf lesson first!

What kind of surfboard are there?

There are different types of surfboards:

1. **Shortboards:**
Shortboards are the more radical surfboards. They are designed for quick turns, deep barrels, and can even be used for backflips.

2. **Longboards:**
 Longboards are perfect for surfers who want to catch relaxed waves and essentially dance on the water. This elegant form of surfing is a joy to watch.

3. **Softops:**
 The most common surfboards for beginning/intermediate surfers are softops. These boards are specially designed for surfers looking to grasp the basics. Due to their shape and volume, they make it easy to catch waves, and their soft fins and top make them safe for learning.
