Based on the wave predictions, we aim to schedule two sessions per week: once on a weekday and once during the weekend. We keep everyone informed through the WhatsApp group.

What is included?

The lesson price includes a custom wetsuit, custom surfboard, and a certified surf instructor!

What do I have to bring?

Sunscreen for your face, hands, and feet. A water bottle for after the surf lesson, a towel to dry off, and snug swimwear such as swim trunks or a swimsuit.

Is the surf lesson safe?

Surfing remains an ‘extreme sport,’ and like any other sport, it involves safety risks. We maintain small groups, provide lessons from internationally certified surf instructors holding lifeguard diplomas, and we have close connections with the rescue team. After comprehensive safety theory, you can confidently enter the water with our instructors.

Where is the surfschool located?

Dutch Surf Academy is located next to the popular beach club ‘De Pit’ in ‘s-Gravenzande. Navigate to Dutch Surf Academy, park in the parking lot, walk onto the beach, and you’ll find us on your right-hand side.

How can I pay?

When you make a reservation, you can easily pay online via iDeal. You also have the option to pay by card on-site or in cash.

Intermediate surf lesson Subscription level 2

The Intermediate Surf Lesson Subscription. Do you want to (learn to) surf ‘Green Waves’ and ‘Down the line’?

With this special subscription for ‘intermediate’ surfers, you will go surfing weekly in small groups with a focus on riding unbroken waves and surfing down the line!

2 hours including changing

Prices:

Trial Lesson €37.50 per person.
3-Ride Card €105 per person.
5-Ride Card €165 per person.
10-Ride Card €280 per person.

What is an Intermediate Surf Lesson Subscription?

Do you want to really master the basics of surfing?

With an intermediate surf lesson subscription, you can join our intermediate surf lessons every week. The intermediate surf lesson subscription is a kind of training program that focuses on paddling out to the lineup, catching green waves, and surfing down the line.

When are the intermediate surf lesson?

There are lessons every week, depending on the weather and wave predictions, we try to schedule two sessions weekly, both on weekends and weekdays in the evenings. We will update you every week through our WhatsApp group with a new schedule. You can sign up for the lesson there.

Can’t make it? No problem. You only pay when you come to surf!

Quality of the surf lessons?

We make sure there are enough professional instructors present and keep the groups small. This way, you can truly work together with the other participants and instructors to improve your surf skills. After the lesson, many participants enjoy a snack and a drink at our neighbors at Strandtent De Pit.

Which packet do I choose?

We offer different packages.

We have a trial lesson where you can see if it’s something for you and optionally choose a 3, 5, or 10 lesson package. There is no expiration date on the lessons, so the subscription remains valid.

The purpose of the subscriptions is to truly teach you how to surf unbroken waves and perfect your steering skills.
